One of the greatest and most popular athletes in all combat sports, St-Pierre dominated the UFC welterweight division from 2007 until going on hiatus in 2013.
The Quebec native defended his UFC title nine consecutive times, a record St-Pierre still holds over the 170 division. After a grueling split decision win over Johny Hendricks, St-Pierre stepped away from the octagon, vacating his title to focus on training for the love of it.
Since that time, comeback rumors have taken on a life of their own, with no concrete information, until now. Possible match ups include the winner of Tyron Woodley and Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson or Middleweight Champion, Michael Bisping.
