Georges St-Pierre

Biography 

From a young age, Georges St-Pierre became immersed in martial arts when first introduced to Kyokushin karate by his father. As an adult he began adding to his MMA skills by competing in wrestling and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Nova União, a reputable training academy and team located in Brazil. His passion and dedication as a mix martial artist brought him to achieve black belts in both Kyokushin karate and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).

Entering the UFC, St-Pierre expanded his training regiment to a variety of disciplines including; wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ), Boxing, Muay Thai, strength & conditioning and cardio. St-Pierre has maintained his rank as the number one Welterweight fighter in the world for several years, defending his championship belt for a record of eight consecutive times.
