NEW STOCK ARRIVING SOON !

Explosive line up of Muay Thai set for Lion Fight 36

Four exciting Muay Thai bouts take place on Friday, April 28th at Foxwoods Resort Casino

The newly added matchups fill the main card that is topped by a showdown for the Lion Fight lightweight title as champion Sergio Wielzen defends his crown against legendary Thai competitor Lerdsila “Mr. Lightning” PhuketTopTeam. Also slated for the card is a cruiserweight tilt pitting Paul Banasiak up against Brett Hlavacek, and a middleweight bout of PJ Sweda up against Eddie Abasolo. Highlighting the newest additions to the card are bouts featuring some of Lion Fight’s most-popular competitors. In a middleweight test, top-calibre veterans collide as Amadeu Cristiano, a native of Brazil who now fights out of Boston, takes on one time Lion Fight super middleweight title challenger DC Pratt of the Bahamas.

Another matchup will see surging cruiserweight prospect and long-time mixed martial arts stalwart Chip “The Surgeon” Moraza-Pollard looking to stay undefeated in Muay Thai as he faces upset-minded Matt Coleman. Top-caliber prospects highlight the other two newly signed matchups. In a lightweight encounter, up-and-comer Jonathan George takes on Moroccan-born standout Amine Ballafrikh, who had a dominating unanimous decision win at Lion Fight 30. The other battle will mark the pro debuts for two exciting young talents as Northeast fan favorite Julian Nguyen stands across from rival Trevor Ragin.

Lion Fight 36 will air live on AXS TV Fights with a start time of 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT. with commentary from renowned duo “The Voice” Michael Schiavello and UFC Hall of Famer Pat Miletich alongside veteran MMA ringside reporter Ron Kruck.
